| Globus software developments started in 1995 in Friedrichshafen in Germany. In 1999 a new Belgium company, Globus Technologies (GT), took over the business and development. In 2007 GT created a company in Romania Globus Software Development Company to expand their development capacity. GT main office is located in the beautiful medieval city of Ghent in Belgium but customers are serviced from various locations all over the world including Berlin, Germany, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Auckland in New Zealand and Tirgu Mures in Romania. Each of these locations having their own specialization in various areas they also serve as each others back up and knowledge center. Nowadays Globus has grown to a full fledged data integration, communications and travel and fleet management specialist. |
